Hey everyone! I just wanted to comment and write a little something about the lead designer of Burn This City Studios, Saeid Halvaeian.

First off, to get a basis of how Saeid and I have come to working with each other, I will tell a little bit about why and how we began working with each other.

I have been a musician for quite some time. Playing with different artists and bands for a coupe years now. I recently released a solo EP and needed some big time help pushing the new material. I had no time next to getting all the music recorded, manufactured, etc., let alone any knowledge/experience with graphic design. Saeid then came into the picture. Saeid and I had known each other since grade school but I never knew the high caliber of his work.

After Saeid had heard of my need for some kind graphic promotion, we began talking back and forth, and meeting face to face (even in the late hours of the night at Starbucks!) talking about website and MySpace design plans.

However, for Saeid, it wasn't all just about the graphics. In his mind, there was more to just slapping some cool looking things onto a website. Let me explain.

Saeid began taking an interest in not just what I wanted on the website, but he wanted to get to know ME more in our meetings. Casually joking around and just messing with lighthearted conversation. He wanted to know about the music I had released; and hear it! - just trying to get a feel the whole project. Not only that, he wanted to make sure the design he created would fit me and what my music was about. So many things went into his design. Was it acoustic or rock? Was it lyrical or more instrumental? What was my market audience? He took all of this into consideration. And later I found out that his would be the things that would affect his design...and therefore help the overall success of the project!

Yes, I was more than happy with my final product and it has been a significant push to my project. But what I was most impressed about was his willingness to work; and to work hard. We had many many little changes haha. Not because he was making mistakes, but because I am so dang indecisive and picky (thanks for being patient Saeid. haha). We would try something out, and if it wasn't working, we would try a different option until it worked.

Overall, my experience with Burn This City Studios is something that I am so grateful for. They helped get me started and continue to monitor my sites as the music, listeners, and markets change ever so fast these days. Thanks, man.
